WHY VALROSSARA

It's not much to look at, but with good reasons Valrossara can be referred to as "The Village of Dreamers".
People that chose to move there allowed themselves to be inspired by its nature and a sort of straightforwardness, which changed their lives. One persone became an organic small farmer, another finally realized his own dream of building and running a "Theme Park". Someone else broke shyness and now passionately engages in art work, decorations, and old wood restoration.
Rustic, unadorned small villages are often places where it is easy to find inspiration and work things out around personal decisions.
Valrossara and its surrounding woodland areas is the right "terrain" in which artists and thinkers can share their ideas and stimulate each other while enjoying a bohemian atmosphere.
Valrossara is a place where it is easy to be in touch with your dreams, make them grow, shape them, and leave the place carrying the feeling that they will come true.
Need an immersion in history?
Just walk west or east, and in 30 minutes by foot two medieval castles will welcome you.
Do you want more? Go hunting for more Castles! Italy's Piedmont Region has plenty of small old towns each of which has a castle with its own distinctive style.

At 10 miles distance you find one of the biggest Outlet retail places in Europe plus a nearby shopping mall.
How about a round of golf ?
Next to the Outlet a 9 hole golf course is there and if you are not satisfied with 9 holes, look for the 18 hole "Golf Club Tassarolo".

Thirty minutes by train and you are in Genova, the city with the largest old town in Italy and an easy gateway to Portofino and all the well known towns in the Italian Riviera.
Travelling west or north the two big cities of Milan and Tourin are within one hour by train or car.
Enjoy wine tasting ?
Small local wineries will welcome you with their exellent white wine called Cortese di Gavi, and the reds such as Dolcetto and Barbera. It is remarkable the relationship between the quality of the wines and their prices: high quality at a very affordable price.
Want to talk about food?
The Slow Food mouvement was born and raised in Piedmont. The entire Region is a locavor and food lovers heaven!
In Valrossara you may have the opportunity t taste and appreciate some of the local hand-made foods and wines.
I say "you may", because honey, goat's cheese daily made from the fresh morning milking and ready to be eaten in the evening, old-style wine, and the organic home-made tomato sauce, are not sold for profit, but given as a sign of friendship. Therefore, a way to get close to the makers needs to be found in order to taste their fresh healthy food, and delicacies.
